What you will Learn

This workshop offers you the experience of making a sourdough bread from start to finish. Because a great sourdough takes time, this workshop runs for a full day, ensuring that you leave with the experience needed to bake wonderful sourdough bread at home. You will also make your own basic yeast dough as the foundation of our lunch together.

Our Approach

All our workshops are hands-on. You will prepare and bake your own bread, from start to finish. And you get to take your fresh loaf home with you. Bread baking is a collaborative and fun endeavor at the Black Island Bakery, where you are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and experiences throughout our time together.
